Becoming a wedding planner has always been a dream of mine. Over the years I have planned my daughter's wedding, helped plan my niece's wedding, planned my own 2nd wedding and have helped friends plan their weddings. With the support of my husband, I finally decided to take the leap and became certified as a wedding planner from the American Academy of Wedding Planners in 2006, and Simply Elegant Weddings and Events was born.

I have excellent organizational skills and am adept at multi-tasking having spent 18 years as a middle school secretary and bookkeeper.  I also worked in a well known upscale bridal salon for 2 years to become more knowledgeable about the wedding industry and gain experience working with brides.

Planning and coordinating weddings and special events is easy for me and a task that I find challenging and exciting - but most of all fun! My friends have always said, "I was born to plan parties", and that is just what I want to help you do.
